Ministry of Education: SCHOLARSHIPS Opportunities in India 2025/26
1. Call for ApplicationVignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (VFSTR), India after signing MoU with the Ministry of Education Science and Technology has invited scholarship application for meritorious Tanzanian Students (self-finance or sponsored) to pursue Bachelor or Masters for the academic year 2025/2026.
The value of scholarship is partial, funding includes 100% Tuition fee for entire duration of course, Application Fee, Registration Fee, Admission Fee, Library Fee, Lab Fee and Internet (Wi-Fi). The scholarship excludes Hostel (Shared Non-A/C Accommodation) & Mess charges, 2 Pairs of uniform, bed with bed sheet, pillow with pillow cover, Laundry Service, Electricity Charges and Medical Insurance, passport and VISA fee, flight tickets, toiletries and regular wears, tear items and anything not mentioned in the includes.
2. Programs offered
i. B. Tech (Bachelor of Technology) – 4 Years
a) Robotics and Automation;
b) Textile Technology;
c) Civil Engineering;
d) Electrical Electronics Engineering;
e) Mechanical Engineering; and
f) Agriculture Engineering.
ii. B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture – 4 Years;
iii. B. Pharmacy – 4 Years;
iv. BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) – 3 Years;
v. BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) – 3 Years;
vi. MBA (Master of Business Administration) – 2 Years; and
vii. MCA (Master of Computer Applications) – 2 Years.

· Mandatory subjects for Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) – 4 Yrs Duration – Mathematics, Physics, preferably Chemistry or any other related subject in ACSEE;
· Mandatory subjects for Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Agriculture 4 Yrs Duration – Mathematics/Biology, Preferably Crop Science/ Chemistry or any other related 2 subjects in ACSEE;
· Mandatory subjects for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) 4 Yrs Duration – Biology, Physics and Chemistry in ACSEE;
· Mandatory subjects for Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) – 3 Years Duration – Mathematics and any other 2 subjects in ACSEE;
· Mandatory subjects for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – 3 Years Duration – Any combination of subjects in ACSEE;
· Mandatory subjects for Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Any Graduation; and
· Mandatory subjects for Master of Computer Application (MCA) – Must have mathematics in Graduation.
Qualification Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
i. Be a citizen of the United Republic of Tanzania;
ii. Must have good academic performance;
iii. Should have a valid passport or evidence that they applied for it; and
iv. Must be in good health.Application requirements
Applicants are required to submit a certified photocopy of relevant documents listed below:
i. A completed attached application form;
ii. Certified copies of Certificate for Secondary Education Examination (CSEE), Advance Certificate for Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE), Diploma or Bachelor;
iii. A Study Plan or Research Proposal in English (A minimum of 200 words for undergraduates and 800 words for postgraduates);
iv. Two recommendation letters for applicants applying for postgraduate programs written in English;
v. Certified copies of birth certificates; and
vi. Valid passport.Closing Date
