Institutional Background Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) is a full-fledged university established in 2014 and located in Iringa Municipality, in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. RUCU is owned by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC), a private, secular institution open to all people, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, political affiliation, or station in life.
The university operates under the University Act, 2005, and follows the guidelines provided by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and the Catholic Church Policy on Higher Education Institutions – Ex Corde Ecclesiae. Its motto is “Academic Excellence and Moral Finesse.” The university consists of five faculties and one institute.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified for a physical interview. If necessary, virtual interviews will be conducted.
