FINANCE MANAGER – 1 POST
Finance Manager at Akofa East Africa (T) Limited February 2025
Job Purpose:
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans. Create long-term financial goals and strategies to support the organization’s growth and stability.
- Prepare and present financial reports and statements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the company’s financial health, such as income statements and balance sheets. ∙ Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity. Track incoming and outgoing cash to ensure the organization can meet its short-term obligations.
- Create and oversee budgets to control costs. Develop and monitor budgets to manage expenses and allocate resources effectively.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks. Analyze financial risks (e.g., market or credit risks) and implement measures to reduce their impact.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Oversee tax preparation, filing, and adherence to applicable tax laws to avoid penalties.
- Lead and manage the finance team effectively. Supervise and guide the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
- Analyze financial data to improve profitability. Evaluate financial metrics and key performance indicators to identify areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and tools .Adopt and manage technologies to streamline financial operations and reporting processes.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance in a recognized institution, master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional: Certificate in CPA (T)
- Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Decision making;
- Ability to interpret long term plans, programs and budgets developed senior management level; ∙ Interpersonal and leadership skills;

Health Safety, Security and Environment Officer – 1 Posts
Health Safety, Security and Environment Officer at Akofa East Africa (T) Limited February 2025
Job Purpose:
To develop, implement, and oversee health, safety, security, and environmental strategies, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and the promotion of a safe and sustainable workplace.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures: Establish and enforce standards to ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits: Identify potential hazards, evaluate risks, and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Ensure regulatory compliance: Monitor adherence to local, national, and international HSSE laws and standards.
- Promote a safety culture. Foster awareness and accountability for safety and sustainability across the organization.
- Oversee incident investigation and reporting. Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Train and educate employees. Organize training programs on HSSE protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor environmental impact. Develop initiatives to reduce waste, pollution, and energy consumption to support sustainability goals.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness. Develop and test emergency response plans to handle crises effectively.
- Manage security protocols. Ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities.
- Report on HSSE performance. Provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, risks, and areas for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Academic: Bachelors in any field of Environment (Science, Engineering)
- Professional: Certificate of risk Assessment and NOSHIC I
- ∙Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Risk assessment and mitigation.

- Proficiency in HSSE management systems.
