Civil Technician- Ports and Terminals at DP World Tanzania November 2024

Job Function
Implement and plan preventive, corrective maintenance of civil infrastructure within the Ports and Terminals as per DP World standards for both safety and reliability.
Key Performance Areas:
- Assist in the design and construction of civil engineering projects.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project progress and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Perform materials testing and quality control measures.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of infrastructure.
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Fully Conversant with Safety Procedures
- 3-5 years of professional experience preferably gained in ports and terminal

Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience in civil construction or engineering projects preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well.
