This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of logistics principles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations: Manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, and ensure that all activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
- Inventory control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and implement measures to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Space optimization: Optimize warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity and minimize handling costs.
- Safety compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling procedures, fire prevention, and emergency response.
- Vendor management: Coordinate the receipt of raw materials from local and foreign vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Internal distribution: Issue raw materials to internal departments and sister concerns as needed. • Finished goods dispatch: Coordinate the dispatch of finished goods to customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

- Regular stock checks: Conduct weekly and monthly stock checks to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies or surpluses.
- Reporting: Report any discrepancies or surpluses to relevant personnel, such as the Logistics Manager, Cost Manager, and Plant Head.
- Ad-hoc tasks: Undertake any other tasks or projects assigned by the Logistics Manager, Cost Manager, or Plant Head.

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum Five years of experience in warehouse management.
