About the Team
Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined our significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world. NGM produces approximately 3.5 million ounces of gold a year. The massive mining operation comprises eight mines along with their associated infrastructure and processing facilities and hosts three of Barrick’s Tier One assets: Carlin, Cortez, and Turquoise Ridge. Position Description
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a HV Electrician to join and grow our team.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe work practices, i.e. attending compulsory safety courses and meetings, use of required PPE, incident/accident reporting, and ensuring total adherence to all Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Policies, as well as other relevant policies procedures, and guidelines.
- Knowledge of operating and switching Up to 6.6KV
- Install and maintain all electrical equipment on Sandvik electrical drills to reduce unplanned maintenance.
- and optimize availability.
- Ability to Use testing equipment, troubleshoot complex electrical problems and develop
- effective resolutions
- Overhaul electrical equipment by setting company policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and distribution circuit maps.
- Ensure safe work practices by attending compulsory safety courses and meetings;
- Complete required testing and safety checks on electrical drills.
- Attend to breakdowns and complete necessary fault-finding.
- Carry out defined and necessary electrical equipment checks.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems, effectively communicate, and work as part of a team.
- Complete modifications to electrical drills under specified instructions.
- Under the direction of the supervisor, provide appropriate on-the-job training and coaching to less experienced personnel.
- Ensure safe working practices on high voltage electrical work, including ensuring clearances, and working on energized lines and equipment

Qualification Requirements:
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- High voltage Switching Certificate
- Must have a minimum of at least 4 year’s experience in a similar industry
- Tanzania Valid Driving License
- Excellent communication in English and Swahili ,both writing and verbal
- Able to understand the content and operation mechanism of the interfaces between books and supplies
- Good Communication Skills
- Time Management Skills
