Job Summary:
The General Manager at Eminent 2022 Limited will oversee the entire operations of the company, ensuring efficient logistics management, profitability, and growth. This role requires a seasoned professional with experience in logistics, transportation, and management, who can lead a team to achieve operational excellence while maintaining a strong focus on customer acquisition, satisfaction, and profitability. The General Manager will also coordinate closely with a sister company, which specializes in clearing and forwarding, to offer integrated logistics solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Management:
o Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures that align with the company’s overall vision and goals.
o Lead the execution of logistics operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and close coordination with the sister clearing and forwarding company.
o Monitor industry trends and adapt business strategies to maintain a competitive edge and attract new customers.

2. Operational Oversight:
o Oversee daily operations of the company, including fleet management, trip planning, and client relations.
o Ensure the efficient use of the logistics management system to optimize routing, trip tracking, and resource allocation.
o Collaborate with the sister company to streamline operations and offer end-to-end logistics solutions.
o Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
o Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

3. Financial Management:
o Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, invoicing, and accounts management.
o Monitor the financial performance of logistics activities, ensuring profitability and cost-efficiency.
o Work with the finance team to manage cash flow, forecast financial needs, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
o Drive efforts to increase revenue by securing new clients and expanding service offerings.

4. Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and develop the management team, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
o Foster a positive, results-oriented work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
o Implement performance management systems to evaluate and improve staff productivity, with a focus on customer service excellence.

5. Client Relations and Business Development:
o Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
o Actively pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and new client acquisition for both Eminent 2022 Limited and its sister company.
o Oversee the preparation of client reports and ensure timely communication of trip updates and performance metrics.
o Collaborate with the sister company to offer integrated logistics and clearing/forwarding services, enhancing value for clients.

6. Technology and Innovation:
o Drive the adoption of innovative technologies, including the use of the logistics management system and ChatGPT integration for advanced analytics.
o Ensure that the company’s technology infrastructure supports operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
o Work with IT teams to enhance system functionalities, including real-time data analysis, predictive maintenance, and profitability forecasting.

7. Reporting and Compliance:
o Report to the Board of Directors on operational performance, financial results, customer acquisition efforts, and strategic initiatives.
o Ensure that all operations adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
o Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s assets, reputation, and client relationships.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Skills:
o Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including fleet management, trip planning, and client management.
o Proven track record of managing P&L responsibilities, driving profitability, and acquiring new customers.
o Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
o Experience with logistics management systems and data analytics tools.
o Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
