Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Activity
Educate the community on natural resources conservation. (35%)
End Result
Community sensitized to natural resources management plan.
Activity
Train the community on management of kitchen in refugee camp context (25%)
End Result
Community educated on kitchen garden.
Activity
Ensure availability of farm inputs and facilitate their applications (10%)
End Result
Farm inputs available
Activity
Undertake supportive home visits to kitchen garden farms. (20%)
End Result
Improved knowledge and skills.
Activity
Facilitate the community for preparation of inorganic manure. (5%)
End Result
Organic manure produced.
Activity
Weekly and Monthly report compilation
End Result
Timely and accurate reports shared
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Should be physically fit.
Language Requirements
Fluent in both English and Swahili

NRC-WASH Supervisor
Reason for contact
Fellow bilateral officer implementing WASH in the camp.
Frequency of contact
Daily
DECISION MAKING
The role needs regular execution of safety and hygienic duties verbally and in written form on daily and weekly basis.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
- Experience in working with humanitarian operations and refugees’ programs,
- Experience in community works particularly agricultural activities
- Holder of Degree in Agricultural and Livestock a recognized Institution.
