Position Description
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a Trainer to join and grow our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards
  • Demonstrate Safe Work Practices and Team membership at the workplace.
  • Identify training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with responsible personnel.
  • Design training and development programmes based on the needs of the organization and the responsible managers.
  • Assess and issue Licenses & Permits to competent operators and drivers.
  • Maintain regular communication & feedback with Customers and a Supervisor/ Line manager.
  • Make sure that Inductions are conducted for all new employees & visitors upon arrival on site.
  • Be able to develop effective induction/Training programmes basing on changes and business requirement.
  • Support and implement various Company approved training and development activities.
  • Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
  • Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts, brochures, and visual materials.
  • Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness.
  • Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, and handouts and develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment.
  • Assist the Supervisor in selecting and assigning trainer/ instructor or vendors to conduct training as per departmental requirements.
  • Support on organizational structuring process, determining employee’s capability and development needs to suit the organization requirement.
  • Ensure that statutory training requirements are met.
  • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
  • Maintaining learning and development records keeping and reporting.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required within the department.

Qualification Requirements:
  • Certificate 4 or similar Qualification in Workplace Training & Assessment
  • Tertiary Education in Training (or Related Field)

Experience and Skills Requirements:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Workplace Training & Assessment
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operating Surface/ Earthmoving Equipment
  • Ability to do multitask, prioritizes, and manages time efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skill.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Analytical skills, able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software.
  • Instructional, presentation and training management Skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms.
  • Possession of Tanzania Valid driving license.
