What you’ll do 
  • Assist in the leadership of the Health and Welfare team, ensuring effective collaboration among school nurses, officers, and assistants
  • Monitor and maintain records of student health cases, working closely with school nurses and ensure prompt communication of significant health cases to Academic, Head Office, and Boarding leaders
  • Plan and oversee hospital visits, student dietary requirements, and First Aid training and refresher courses for the relevant teams
  • Coordinate the annual health checks, managing recruitment logistics, schedules, implementation and ensuring adequate follow ups are made.
  • Provide compassionate support and organize special welfare needs for students
  • Compile and submit monthly health and welfare reports to the Community Relations Manager
  • Manage Health Check Project for our entire student community from inception to completion.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management and leadership roles, preferably within the education or community development sector.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet critical deadlines, and mentor colleagues effectively.
