Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
The QI technical lead will support implementation and institutionalization of quality improvement (QI) initiatives under USAID-funded Lishe Mtambuka Activity. Lishe Mtambuka aims to strengthen health and food market systems that promote adoption of optimal nutrition related behaviors across a range of stakeholders in the five regions in Tanzania.
This position will Provide technical support to R/Council health management teams, health facilities and community to improve performance of health system and the delivery of health care services through identification of QI gaps, capacity building of teams to conduct problem root cause analysis, introducing measures to improve quality using available resources, monitoring impact and institutionalization of changes. She/he will work closely with both the health system and nutrition governance advisors to ensure R/CHMTs, health facilities and communities fully implement the national nutrition QI guideline
