Zonal Government Relationship Manager (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
To contribute to Government Business' growth and profitability with extensive focus on Dar es Salaam Zone business development activities for new and existing clients of Government business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the unit's growth and profitability through effective development of new businesses within Dar Zone (Dar Es Salaam & Coastal Regions)
  • Work closely with other business units in driving the Dar business penetration strategy with focus in recruiting key projects deals and offer needed financial solutions (Payment and collection solutions) also align with internal stakeholders for execution of plans.
  • Support the preparation of winning responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), developing pricing proposals in conjunction with RFP responses and obtaining approval prior to delivery.
  • Upkeep the development of long-term Government Business penetration plans in Dar zone.
  • Provide specialist advice to Regional Officials and other parties hence contribute to long term business penetration and retention plans.
  • Take the lead in marketing intelligence as well as advising the Senior Manager on various ongoing and upcoming Dar zone development projects.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing Government Business relationships providing consultative solutions of products and services to meet customer's and enhance and expand banking relationships and conduct annual reviews.
  • Actively support the Line Managers in drawing up Dar business initiatives to support strategy in line with the banks' strategy to Dar zone.

Legal Manager; Secretarial (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
To discharge the General Board Secretarial and Statutory functions for the company, including ensuring that the company complies with the statutory requirements of the Companies Act, and conforms to the Articles and Memorandum of Association and good corporate governance regulations and practices.

Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Focus
  • Regular filing of annual returns and all statutory reports and documents the bank is required to file with the regulators and other state organs.
  • Prepare Company Secretarial and Corporate Governance strategy in alignment with the strategy of the bank.
  • Drafting of minutes, and other documents the Board is required to issue in discharging its mandates.
  • Manage board processes including Board and Committee papers and circulation of agendas, minutes, discussion papers, and proposals for the board and its committees.
  • Timely organizing of shareholders' and directors' meetings
  • Prepare quarterly and annual Progress Reports of the Company Secretarial Department.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for asset product development, management and performance for Retail Banking
Monitoring and ensuring asset product profitability and its end-to-end life cycle

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and manage a compelling Retail banking portfolio of Asset products.
