Assistant Accountant Officer

  • Conduct financial closing for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing accurately and timely manner
  • Monitor petty cash and staff reimbursement
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow positions for business operation
  • Control tax, corporate income tax, WHT, VAT, import duty and other related legal matters
  • Coordinate with external auditor, Revenue department and Customs department
  • Give advice on tax & legal issues to management and coordinate with outsources consultants
  • Trains assigned fund accounting staff in mutual fund accounting and their responsibilities
  • Manage the finance and accounting functions to provide financial reporting and corporate planning
  • Supervise and provide training to subordinates on finance and accounting functions
  • Become familiar with the role of all key players in the reconciliation process and gain a detailed understanding of all processes within these teams which impact the timely resolution of reconciliation items
  • Understand the lifecycle of all Fund transactions including all cash-flows generated by all securities traded from the perspective of both Fund Accounting and Custody/Broker
  • Preparing accounting information in support of tax department requests
  • Documenting accounting and reporting procedures
  • Supporting budget and forecasting processes by partnering with the FP&A function to obtain necessary data and run projections
  • Act as contact for specific markets/subsidiaries for accounting and reporting issues
  • Preparation of the global quarterly policies and guidelines for the accounting/ reporting teams of all markets/ subsidiaries

  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies and long-term planning.

  • Collaborate with HR on personnel-related matters, ensuring adherence to labor laws.
  • Oversee contract management and vendor relationships.
Risk Management:
  • Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
