Job Summary
• Facilitate acquisition and management of relationships with NBC Enterprise & Supply Chain Development (ESD)
customers through pro-active and consultative approach in providing financial solutions in line with NBC policies and procedures.
• Utilize customer focus approach to provide holistic financial solutions to basic and complex financial needs by understanding customers’ business process cycle.
• Manage the quality of assets and liabilities in Enterprise & Supply Chain Development (ESD) portfolio through pro-active monitoring of customers’ transactions trends and post loan management

Job Description​
Sales and Relationship Management
Outputs to deliver this accountability: 40%.
  • Drive and deliver exceptional sales performance by identifying and meeting the (ESD) customer needs and matching the same with appropriate ESD Products & Services
  • Identification and logging of product and service gaps driven by client needs for evaluation and possible development.
  • Own and manage personal and team product sales targets to contribute towards overall sales objectives.
  • Identify when & where to refer customers to an appropriate area of delivery for specialist help or advice.
  • Identify cross –sell opportunities when making customer contact to maximize the customer value from each interaction.
  • Consult SME coverage teams & trade products on pricing, solutions, , issues dealing with product/service performance, business practices
  • Consult credit and RCU on applications and structure of the facilities and best practices.
  • Provide required report to both country and Centre teams within given timelines.
 
Customer Service 20%
  • Outputs to deliver this accountability:
  • Deliver world class customer service practices and ensure adherence to NBC LTD Service standards.
  • Own and manage customer queries and complaints by taking ownership and resolving in a timely manner.
  • Assist coverage teams develop relationship account plans for their customer portfolios.
  • Achieve operational rigor excellence in all aspects of procedures and processes undertaken to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Minimize potential for fraudulent applications by following each product criteria.
  • Ensuring that any exceptions to (ESD) customer needs deals, are authorized by (ESD) Product Owner, agreed with Customer, and properly set up to ensure 100% collection upon product/customer set up.
  • Follow end-to-end the (ESD) product procedures ensuring new applications are properly authorized.
  • Ensure SME RM and all other stakeholders’ trainings are conducted to ensure in-depth understanding of the (ESD) product.
  • Liaise with SME RMs for timely opening of client/SME accounts and visits to SME premise.
  • Compliance and Risk Management 20%
  • Outputs to deliver this accountability:
  • Build awareness and comply with KYC, AML, and Financial Sanctions and Prohibitions of Business Activity policies.
  • Identify potential problem accounts and communicate appropriate risk mitigating strategies by accessing excess report on daily basis, regular monitoring of client’s transactions, .
  • Research, read, and network to keep abreast of developments in various industry/sector to ensure adequate industry knowledge and potential risks and or opportunities.
  • Drive credit review process (New and renewal) by submitting to credit department all required documents as per checklist, comprehensive call report and renewal documents 90 days before expiry of the facilities.
  • Manage down accounts without limits by submitting outstanding financials on time and following up on outstanding securities and updating credit files on regular basis.
  • Prompt response on reports related to ESD loan in arrears, and communicate resolutions within 24 hrs.
  • Team Networking 10%
  • Outputs to deliver this accountability:
  • Attend meetings and knowledge sharing meetings.
  • Conducting maintain constant dialogue/sharing of information with other departments (Retail and Corporate Credit, Corporate Banking, Retail Banking).
  • Attend local functions/community/governmental and business development activities.
  • Develop and maintain contact with Product Specialists in other areas of the bank, including Corporate Banking, Treasury, and Retail Banking.
  • Provide feedback into the performance review of other members of Cross function team.
  • Identify appropriate deal scope and structure in line with pricing decisions, product maintenance and compliance checks.
  • Self Development 10%
  • Outputs to deliver this accountability;
  • Comply of all policies, procedures, and circulars updates.
  • Ensure self-development pertaining to career path to develop knowledge and skills.
  • Complete all critical compliance training.
  • Other duties
  • Perform all other duties as reasonably assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas - Business, Commerce and Management Studies, Business Improvement Orientation (Meets some of the requirements and would need further development), Digital familiarity (Meets all of the requirements), Enabling team success (Meets some of the requirements and would need further development), Experience in a similar environment, Openness to change (Meets some of the requirements and would need further development), Operational administration (Meets some of the requirements and would need further development), Product and/or Service Knowledge (Meets some of the requirements and would need further development), Quality orientation (Meets some of the requirements and would need further development)
