Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our procurement processes and optimizing logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations for our manufacturing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing projects while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Evaluate suppliers and negotiate terms and agreements to secure advantageous contracts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to prevent shortages or excess.
- Optimize logistics and transportation to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Track and analyze procurement and logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Address any procurement or logistics issues promptly and effectively.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and enhance supply chain efficiency.
