Job Purpose:
Coordinating, assessing, evaluating, and enhancing cybersecurity measures and practices across the organizations technology landscape.
The role ensures the organizations information assets remain secure and protected from cyber threats.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and update technology-related policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external technology audits and assessments.
- Review and assess the security architecture of technology systems and propose improvements to enhance security posture.
- Review and recommends secure design principles and configurations.
- Perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security audits to uncover security gaps.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure controls are integrated into technology systems and processes.
- Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to technology and information security and ensure the organizations technology practices align with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, Personal Data Collection Act, PCI DSS) and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity incident response plans and playbooks.
- Foster a culture of security and compliance throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with the training team to develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs for the bank.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of security monitoring and testing technology landscape.
- In-depth knowledge of security of various operating system flavors such as Windows, Linux, and Unix.
- Knowledge of security of applications, databases, and middleware technologies.
- Knowledge of common information security monitoring and testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, or security auditing.
- Strong planning and organizing.
- Time management.
- Ability to communicate clearly, pleasantly, and confidently with technology management stakeholders both orally and written.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be self-driven, prioritizing work with minimum supervision and working to deliver.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related academic field.
- Preferred professional certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CEH or any other relevant security certifications.
- 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or technology risk management.
- Solid hands-on experience in enterprise security tools including security monitoring technologies.
- Solid hands-on experience in VAPT.

CBS Specialist (Re-advertised) (4 Position(s))
Job Purpose:
Support and create interfaces for Core Banking Systems (CBS) and be responsible for resolving incidents at a Level 2 in the back-end Core Banking Application systems.
Support End of Day (EOD) operators and coordinate Level 3 support issues for all back-end Core Banking Application systems with offshore support teams for proactive and active support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create Web Interfaces (API) for Applications to connect to Core Banking Applications.
- Coordinate project groups and manage business demands to ensure that new systems solutions are sound and support the Bank's priorities including technical coding and implementation of products.
- Responsible for Level 2 issues related to all Core applications and act as DevOPS support for applications which have been developed in-house from NMB Internal development team.
- Responsible for Architecture System Design for all applications developed and ones connecting to Core Banking Systems.
- Responsible in different sprints of the Project in any software development phase which at the end touch connection with Core Banking Application.
- Support of day-by-day operations & performance of Core Banking System (CBS)
- Automate back-office operations using third party systems through the Core Banking system.
- Provide 2nd level technical support for CBS queries & incidents
- Liaise with CBS Level 2/3 support teams to report incidents and ensure that relevant solutions are implemented both onsite and offshore.
- Manage external service providers to ensure that developments are implemented according to project group requirements and contractual agreements.
- Provide expert advice on Core Banking Systems and contribute to the unit's objectives.
- Responsible for User Acceptance Testing on testing of Core Banking changes.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge in Linux Systems Support and Administration
- Knowledge in creating and supporting scalable Enterprise applications.
- A good understanding of Operating System software and computer hardware, preferably Unix/Linux or Solaris.
- Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) using RDBMS databases like MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL or Oracle.
- Conversant with current and emerging technology trends in areas such as Robotic Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning
- Programming languages, preferably Java, Python and PL/SQL.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/Information technology/Computer Engineering or related field
- Certifications in Linux/UNIX is added advantage.
- Certifications in Database management e.g., Oracle will be added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in software development, DevOps support or Core Banking System
- System Administration experience with proven capability to interact with IT resources (Infrastructure, IT architect, Risk system specialists) and Business departments.

Manager; Merchant Relationship (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
To establish and maintain strong partnerships between the Bank and its merchants. The primary goal is to foster positive and mutually beneficial relationships to drive business growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure the smooth operation of the merchant network.
Maintain positive correlation with all internal functions including working closely with Branch network and constant engagement with Zonal Sales Managers to drive sales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Merchant Advisory team on driving recruitment for POS, E-commerce and QR codes, including retention, and controls using the industry best practices.
- Identify and acquire new merchants or vendors to expand the merchant network. This involves prospecting, lead generation, and negotiation to onboard new customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing merchants.
- Collaborate with merchants to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales and revenue. This may involve promoting new products or services, implementing activation and marketing campaigns, or exploring cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with merchants; Ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial, protect the interests of the Bank, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements; Manage contract renewals and negotiate pricing adjustments or modifications as needed.
- Meditate when issues or disputes arise with merchants to find solutions that satisfy both parties. This includes investigating complaints, resolving conflicts, and implementing corrective actions to maintain positive relationships.
- Track and analyze merchant performance, including sales, customer feedback, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and ensure that merchants meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and understand competitors' activities.
