Specialised Hauliers (T) Ltd: We are one of the leading tipper truck operators in Tanzania Based in Dar Es Salaam, having a fleet of 150 well maintained trucks pulling 3-Axle Tipping trailers for bulk and bagged cargo And 50 trucks pulling flat bed trailers for Containerised and Bagged cargo with loading capacity of 30-32 tons.100% of our fleet consists of brand new trucks and trailers which give us the competitive edge and make our services more reliable, All trucks fitted with latest GPS tracking facilities and are monitored round the clock.

Job description
- Plan and implement OHS policies and programs
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
- Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
- Review existing policies and procedures
- Adhere to all the rules and regulations
- Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
- Conduct risk assessment
- Enforce preventative measures
- Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
- Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes

QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree or an associate degree.
- Valid competency certificates.
- Registration as a Health and Safety Officer.
- Strong communication skills.
- *Minimum of 2 years experience working with a transportation company in this position.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
- Desirable Skills
- Good team worker
