SALES CONSULTANT VACANCY
We are looking for a sales consultant who is passionate about creating memorable Tanzania Experiences for our Clients with a strong combination of guidance, great customer service skills, a taste for detail, and extensive knowledge about the Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar destinations.

SALES CONSULTANT VACANCY
We are looking for a sales consultant who is passionate about creating memorable Tanzania Experiences for our Clients with a strong combination of guidance, great customer service skills, a taste for detail, and extensive knowledge about the Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar destinations.

Job Location: Tortilis Head Offices in Arusha
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining good relationships with our safari agents.
- Preparing safari bookings, and quotes for the client.
- Dealing with all inquiries from the beginning until confirmation of the booking.
- Communicate with clients via email and phone in a friendly and polite manner and give accurate and consistent information.
- Responding and handling safari agent inquiries by e-mail and phone, converting inquiries from clients on the phone and by e-mail into actual sales estimations.
- Ensuring daily updating of all the relevant information i.e., Client’s safari package, allergies, picking time, and landing off to the airport also dealing with last minutes changes.
- Taking care of booking reservations/cancellations/amendments and preparing files for the Operations Department, with all correct invoices and client details
- Working closely with the reservations and operations departments.
- Other duties as assigned by the Management.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Expert or Tour Consultant in the Tourism Industry.
- Education qualification bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Great Customer Experience with Tanzanian Wildlife, and its national parks.
- Good knowledge of accommodation found in and outside the parks and their specifications.
