Jongomero Camp Limited, a tourist Company headquarted in Dar es Salaam with Camps and Lodges across Tanzania wishes to employ dedicated and internationally experienced Spa Therapists who are passionate for hospitality to perform massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies, depending on guests’ needs and preferences. The spa therapists’ responsibilities include greeting and welcoming spa guests, informing guests of spa packages, promotions, rates, and customizing treatments and therapies to suit guests’ needs.

Successful candidates will relocate to our splendidly renovated Jongomero Camp situated at Ruaha National Park in Iringa and Fanjove Island located off the coast in the South of Tanzania.
Both Jongomero Camp and Fanjove Island offer safe live in conditions suitable to allow successful candidates perform their duties smoothly.
Spa Therapist Responsibilities:
- Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
- Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
- Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
- Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.
- Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
- Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Enquiring about guests’ medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
- Ability to recommend additional spa services and up-sell spa products.
- Keeping abreast of the latest industry techniques with respect to massages and therapies to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to demonstrate respectfulness, patience, and tact to help guests feel more comfortable and at ease.

- Proven experience working as a spa therapist.

Walking Guides at Jongomero Camp Limited May, 2023
Jongomero Camp Limited, a hospitality company headquarted in Dares Salaam with Camps and Lodges across Tanzania wishes to employ dedicated and experienced candidates to fill in the existing vacant positions of the Walking Guides at her splendidly renovated Jongomero Camp located at the remote southern circuit of the Ruaha National park on the banks of the seasonal Jongomero sand river and at Siwandu Camp located off the Rufiji river in the Nyerere game reserve in Coast region.
Key functions of the Walking guide include but not limited to the following as under;
- Escorting groups of tourists around the site
- Giving information about the history, purpose and architecture of a site
- Accompanying groups on day tours to a number of places of interest
- Requisite knowledge and proven hunting experience
- Answering questions and suggesting other places to visit.
- Proven experience in taking photographs and video shooting
- Good experience and knowledge in camera handling, setting and protection.

Desired qualifications and attributes
- Certificate or a diploma in Wildlife Management Customer service skills
- Good command of communication skills in English
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- To be flexible and open to change. Sensitivity and understanding.
- An interest and knowledge of history.
- Good memory.
