The Office of the Chief Government Statistician (OCGS) - Zanzibar conducted the National School Health and Nutrition Survey (SHNS) in 2022. This was the first survey that collected health and nutrition information among school-age children (5-9), early adolescents (10–14 years) and late adolescents (15–19 years) in both primary and secondary schools in Zanzibar.
The School Health and Nutrition Survey has been completed and advanced draft report was prepared. However, there is a need for the survey report to be finalised, designed, and validated before printing and wider dissemination. In addition, to support advocacy for more investment on SHN interventions three policy briefs are to be developed. To support wider dissemination both within and outside the country as well as enhancing knowledge management three manuscripts are to be drafted for submission to peer review journals
The main objective of this consultancy is to review the draft SHN survey report and ensure availability of final high-quality validated deliverables
