Senior Accountant
Kitonka Medical Hospital located at Gongo la Mboto, Mzambarauni Dares salaam, which is at Regional Referral Hospital Level, Is hereby announcing the vacancy /post of Senior Accountant.
Applicant must be experienced and possess in-depth understanding of accounting and finance duties as detailed hereunder:
- Must be conversant with preparation and filing of statutory returns eg, VAT, PAYE, SDL, WCF, NSSF, corporate tax, Withholding tax, etc
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register: including recording, coding and verification of the assets.
- Analyzing departmental income statement/performance to management monthly.
- Assist in developing and updating a written standard operating policies and
- procedures
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and management the financial reporting process.
- Liaise with suppliers ensuring that vendor documentations are accurate; negotiating timely service delivery and payments reconciliations are done and ensure that that all payments are received as per agreeable terms.
- Track actual performance of the company against approved budget daily/monthly/ quarterly and share reports to finance manager for review and approval
- Preparing of Quarterly and Final accounts per IFRs
- Preparing Budgeting activities.
- Checking cashiers daily works.
- Respond to TRA ,Auditor observable
- Regulatory and legal knowledge.
- Lease with External Auditor
- Ensure compliance which statutory payment
- Accounts and Bank reconciliation.
- Preparing Management accounts.
- Maintain account payable/receivable
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.

- Experience in Accountant Department , with minimum 5 years of experience from reputable organization, working in Medical hospital will be advantage.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards(lFRS) •
- Knowledge of Tax laws and regulations
- Knowledge in Computer System and Applications, Ms Office with extensive experience.
- Working under time pressure and meeting deadline.
