About Us
Impala Terminals owns and operates a network of ports, port terminals and warehouses which, combined with its transport assets, provide end-to-end logistics solutions for dry and liquid bulk cargoes, general cargo and containers. Impala Terminals through its own operations and its branded assets employs over 1,500 members of staff and owns and operates 28 facilities across 20 countries around the world.
Impala Terminals was created in 2010 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Trafigura, a market leader in the global commodities industry to support the company's commodity flows. In 2018, a joint venture was created between Trafigura and global fund manager IFM Investors to own and operate Impala Terminals' network of concentrates terminal infrastructure in Mexico, Peru and Spain, and also includes oil supply chain including fluvial barges, oil tank terminals and retail outlets operating under a Puma Energy brand in Paraguay and a global operations which provide global freight forwarding and multimodal transportation services for Trafigura and third party clients. The strongly backed company has an ambitious business plan with strong targets for investment and growth, whilst continuing to apply the highest standards in health, safety and environmental management.

Treasury
- Manage petty cash
- Prepare payment requests to TRA & other statutory payments, payroll account funding, inter account transfers
Receivables
- Review of import and export projects to ensure accuracy
- Preparation of sales invoices
- Preparation of inter company cost recharges
- Review of Work in Progress account to ensure all projects invoiced on time & all completed projects have been applied and removed from WIP
- Preparation & distribution weekly statements of accounts

- Monthly stock reconciliations and review
- Manage Fixed Asset Register
Payables & Accruals
- Preparation of purchase orders
- Manage vendor queries
- Review of auto accrual accounts to ensure all vendor invoices received on time & all completed projects have been applied and removed from WIP
- Liaise with shared services to ensure that all invoiced processed correctly and on time
- Assist finance manager with identifying & managing accruals
- Process sales invoices through the EFD machine
- Work with advisors to prepare monthly VAT returns & payments to TRA
- Prepare monthly WHT returns and payments to TRA
- Monthly reporting

Assist finance manager to
- prepare journal entries for month end close
- monthly PnL analysis
- prepare monthly volumes report
- monthly management reports
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Compliance
- Perform KYC processes to onboard new customers and vendors
- Assist with regular compliance reviews/ updates on customers & vendors
Other
- Assist finance manager with
- preparation of annual budgets
- Monthly cashflow forecasts
- Annual audit process

- University degree in Finance, post-graduate certificate is an added advantage
