As a global health organization with locally led, community-driven programs, we support women to make their own reproductive health decisions. We work with local partners to advance contraceptive services, comprehensive abortion care, and young people’s sexual and reproductive rights in communities around the world—including those affected by poverty, conflict, climate change, and natural disasters. Taken together, our programs enable millions of people to choose their own paths forward.

This new role of President, Africa significantly advances Pathfinder’s Country-Led operating model, which transforms Pathfinder from a traditional international NGO structure to one where authority and resources are placed to those closest to our work. The President, Africa leads Pathfinder’s work in Africa and is accountable for the country offices in the region. The President, Africa drives to results in revenue generation, programmatic performance and meeting Pathfinder’s global standards. The President will establish strong relationships with governments, international leaders and donors important to Africa.

The President, Africa is a senior executive at Pathfinder and provides strategic leadership and direction to achieve for Pathfinder’s organizational vision, mission, and objectives. The President is an ambassador and external representative for Pathfinder.

The President works closely with the organization’s leadership at all levels to promote Pathfinder’s core values of respect, courage, collaboration, innovation, and integrity.
