highly qualified candidates to serve as Health Information Systems
Officer based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Reporting to the Data Systems and Informatics Manager, the Health
Information Systems Officer collaborates with the central technical and
SI teams, regional team, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen and
improve data systems to capture routine data from community- and
facility-based service points. S/he will work closely with the programs
and SI units to prepare requirements for mHealth and eHealth systems,
follow-up on items in progress and ensure products are developed with
quality and according the program needs. S/he will implement programming
and capacity building to enable regional use of innovative health
information systems. S/he will be responsible for liaising with
technology partners to ensure program requirements are translated into
useful tool.
