Tasks of national expert 1
Lead advisor for delivery of work packages C, D and E:
C: development or revision of guidance documents based on MoFP’s internal audit strategy
D: improving knowledge management practices in the public sector internal audit system
E: improving audit committees’ performance in the public sector internal audit system

- Provision of strategic advice to Internal Audit General Division IAGD
- Key linkage to IAGD, responsible for proactively maintaining relationship with partner
- Coordination of short-term experts delivering services in line with agreements with IAGD and internal audit

- Education/training: Fully qualified and certified auditor (CIA) or accountant (CPA or ACCA)
- Language: Advanced English (CEFR B2) and proficient Swahili (CEFR C1)
- General professional experience: 15 years of professional experience in the areas of public sector auditing or public financial management
- Specific professional experience: 5 years of professional experience as internal auditor
- Leadership/management experience: none required
- Regional experience: 10 years’ experience in Tanzania
- Development Cooperation (DC) experience: none required
