RADIOGRAPHER
Job Summary
Kundy Polyclinic is looking for qualified applicants to fill in the position of Radiographer.
Job Description
She/he is responsible for the operating and maintenance of x-ray equipment including DR, CR X-ray machines, performing ultrasounds & produce x-ray images of various body parts for diagnostic purposes as well as maintaining the x-ray rooms according to professional standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing all Radiographic/Radio therapeutic procedures
- Preparing the patient for the procedure
- Preparing the x-ray room and Machine and accessories
- Cleaning and checking the x-ray machine and accessories
- Keeping patients' property/valuables.
- Maintaining appropriate documentations.
- Ensuring all necessary & relevant licenses are updated timely.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma/Degree in Radiology Technology (Radiography) from recognized University/College
- Must be registered with the Medical Radiology & Imaging Professionals Council.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Current working license.
DENTAL THERAPIST
Job Summary
Kundy Polyclinic is looking for qualified applicants to fill in the position of Dental Therapist.
Job Description
She/he will be responsible for provision of necessary dental care to patients that appear in the out-patient department with a variety of oral hygiene issues who would benefit from dental intervention using the existing equipment and supplies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To perform dental work except crown and bridge, orthodontic and maxillofacial dentistry.
- To conduct dental primary health care.
- To perform outreach programs.
- To hold various training sessions in the health facility.
- Dental extraction.
- Dental checks and measurements.
- Procurements and care of Dental working tools and Dental workshop.
- Dental prosthesis, partial dentures.
- To perform any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her Supervisor.

Job Description
She/he should be able to carry out laboratory tests and analyze the results. She/he should be familiar with the use of various machines and be capable to write good medical investigation reports. She/he should possess excellent computer skills, professionalism and sublime interpersonal skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out tests on various samples and provide accurate results.
- Keep proper records of all tests done.
- Ensure that the laboratory and its surroundings are clean and safe
- Keep in safe custody all laboratory equipments
- Collect patients sample as prescribed by clinician/Medical Doctor
- Prepares required chemicals and reagents for various test
- Advice the Clinician/Medical Doctor on alternative test leading to proper diagnosis when necessary
- Maintain all laboratory instruments and equipment at the facility by keeping proper records
- Ensures the laboratory is well stocked and resourced
- Initiate purchase of laboratory solvents
- Ensures cleanliness of apparatus and instruments
- Maintain all the laboratory safety procedures and adherence to safety policy
- Performs any other duties as directed by the supervisor
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Holder of Diploma in Medical Laboratory
- Relevant experience for at least 5 years is an added advantage.
