Job Summary
Internal Staff Only
Responsible for managing infrastructure and networking services for CRS’ global office footprint. Responsible for managing the infrastructure, networking, and communication services for CRS headquarters. Manages a team of individuals, sets direction and deploys resources. Recommends departmental-specific procedures and implements those that are approved. Provides input to the development of the annual operating budget for functional areas of responsibility.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
-Provide oversight and guidance for the management of infrastructure, networking, and communication services
- Ensure that plans are in place for monitoring production systems to identify and address performance issues and risks
- Ensure the proper management of operations, maintenance, and support services of CRS systems
- Ensure proper management of contracts with technology companies that provide operations, maintenance, and support services to CRS.
- Report to business
- Ensure administrators are trained in management of CRS systems
- Develop roadmaps for each service at least 18 months’ out
- Develop relationships with departmental and overseas operations leadership to make sure services are aligned with their expectations.
-Recommends departmental-specific procedures and implements those that are approved.
-Provides input to the development of the annual operating budget for functional areas of responsibility.
-Proactively identifies and recommends the need for new or enhanced procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Demonstrated working knowledge of: (1) Catholic Church organizational structures and (2) Catholic Social Teaching.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point as well as other platforms.

Key Working Relationships:
Internal
- Works with Manager II, Global Service Desk to deliver core infrastructure, networking, and communication services for headquarters. The Manager II, Global Service Desk is accountable for delivering services headquarters and has a dotted-line relationship with the Manger II, Global Infrastructure, Networking, and Communications
- Works with Regional ICT Managers to deliver services to regions/countries
- Works with the Manager II, Data Protection, Information Security, and IAM to secure infrastructure, networking, and communication services
- Works with the Director I, ICT4D Services to deliver core ICT services for programmatic ICT
- Works with the Director II, Enterprise Services to deliver core ICT services for internal applications and platforms
- Works with the Manager I, Digital Workplace Service Project Manager to charter, plan
- Through NetHope, works with peers within the INGO industry to advance the sectors usage of infrastructure, networking, and communication technologies
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Minimum of six-eight years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of three years of management experience.
