Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF) is currently implementing Productive Social Safety Net Program which aims at protecting the vulnerable poor households from severest consequences of poverty by implementing interventions that will lead to increased household incomes and opportunities while increasing consumption.
The TASAF Executive Director is inviting applications from suitably qualified Tanzanian nationals to fill the below vacant posts below:

Assist the Human Resouces Manager to manage effectively and efficiently the registry functions:-
He/She shall:
a) Participate in maintaining a well kept record database management system;
b) Provide orientation and training to Registry Assistants on proper management of the database management system;
c) Provide storage, repository and reference services for all officially registered files and other documentation;
d) Open and index files, attach relevant papers and pass the files to action officers
e) Supervises updating and modification of records;
f) Maintains proper filing of complete documents;
g) Review and dispose of all inactive files or other records in accordance with the Archives Regulations.;
h) Participate in the preparation of departmental annual implementation plan and budgets;
i) Conduct performance appraisals of staff in the unit using agreed upon performance indicators;
j) Prepare monthly progress reports on record keeping activities;
k) Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Human Resource Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
a) A holder of any Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification in record management
b) Must have at least three (3) years work experience in record keeping in Public and /or Private Sectors;
c) Must be computer literate;
d) Good communication and interpersonal skills;
e) Self- motivated with intergrity and high level of confidentiality.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURE:
- Existence of information Data base with data readily available to users.
- Existence of Records storage sites well assembled and labelled.
- Existence of updated file movement register.
