FORVAC Baseline Study Overview
The
Service Provider conducts a complementary study to establish baselines
for indicators of the FORVAC Results Framework that do not yet have
defined baselines (completion of the programme’s Results Framework). The
Service Provider will develop and include in the proposal a feasible
approach, methodology and work plan to implement the baseline data, also
including a sampling methodology and tools to be used for data
collection.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE FORVAC BASELINE STUDY
The
Forestry and Value Chains Development Programme (FORVAC) is a 4-year
Programme funded by the Governments of Tanzania and Finland. The
implementing agency of the programme is the Ministry of Natural
Resources and Tourism,Tanzania.
Recommended:
FORVAC
aims to contribute in increasing economic, social and environmental
benefits from forests and woodlands while reducing deforestation. FORVAC
focuses on forest value chains development based on production of
timber, charcoal and non-wood forest products (NWFP) in the Village Land
Forest Reserves.
