Overview
The AI Muntazir Schools are managed under the auspices of KSIJ Central Board of Education, a Non-Profit Organization, providing quality education to students from multicultural backgrounds and comprises several schools spread over many campuses, providing education at Toddlers, Nursery, Primary, Secondary and College levels.
All campuses are located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Job Title: Deputy Principal (Female)
Location: Dar es salaam
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting the Principal with taking appropriate responsibility for the school
• Overlooking all academic, administrative and operational activities of the school, plan and strategize Co-coordinating and implementing an appropriate curriculum having regard to the varying need, experience, interests, aptitudes and stage of development of all the pupils in the school and the resources available to the school.
• Maintaining a policy for pupil’s behavior and discipline and maintaining such rules and codes of conduct for pupils as required for the maintenance of order and discipline within the school.
• To ensure that teachers adhere to the norms of Teachers Service, Regulations and handle teachers disciplinary matters.
• Establish and maintain effective data management systems, such as student records, teacher records, attendance, purchasing and maintenances procedures and routines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS&QUALIFICATION
• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Education

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum five years’ experience in similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of current developments in learning, teaching and academic quality assurance
  • Knowledge of computers (MS Office applications)
  • Knowledge of the Local and International (IGCSE) Curriculum.

Job Title: Teacher A’Levels
SUBJECTS: Physics and Chemistry (Cambridge Curriculum)
LOCATION:
Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To know the subject area and the syllabus thoroughly
2. To design/implement the curriculum for the subject
3. To plan scheme of work and lesson plans including time for revisions
4. To ensure the student’s progress is monitored and supervised efficiently and timely
5. To complete the syllabus according to the schemes
6. To test the understanding of the subject matter and provide timely interventions where necessary
7. To make periodic report to the Principal regarding students’ progress and discipline
8. To recommend in consultation with Head of Department, the text books and other resources develop teaching strategies and implement them in the class, be progressive and ensure that the latest teaching methods and equipment’s are used.
10 To conduct activities and extra curriculum projects pertaining to the subject

To ensure that the students understand and follow school rules and regularly discuss with the students the rationale behind the rules
To counsel students on physiological, personal, home or family problems and problems related to adolescence.

Job Title: Human Resource Officer
Reporting to:
Finance Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
1. RECRUITMENT AND STAFFING LEVELS
i) Develop procedures to determine and benchmark required staffing Level, taking account of technological advances , and recommending ways if applying these to improve the effectiveness of the Institute and to produce better results.
ii) Oversee and co-ordinate all induction programs for new staff at every level
iii) Be responsible for the recruitment of all staff, minimizing as much as possible of the burden of the recruitment process, including : Liaison with recruitment agencies
iv) Placement of Press Advertisement
v) Issuing of appropriate correspondence and Terms and Conditions of Employment

2. TRAINING
i) Identify individual and organisational training needs and establish and coordinate a realistic training and development plan and budget.
ii) Develop an integrated management development training scheme for professional staff through internal/external resources
iii) In conjunction with departmental resources,develop-in-house training seminars

3. REMUNERATION, BONUSES, BENEFITS AND REWARDS
i) Develop and administer (in conjunction with the Head of Finance) new and innovative remuneration, bonus and reward structures for administrative staffs, teachers and support staffs.

4. PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL REVIEWS
i) Impart the necessary training to Heads to ensure that the appraisal scheme operates effectively

5. POLICY DEVELOPMENT
i) Monitor all aspects of Employment Law, Policies and Practice, liaising with the Employment Department, when legal advice is necessary
ii) Be responsible for continually reviewing current personnel policies and update as and when required
iii) Applicants must have adequate skills in Computer Networking, Software Management and System Security. Applicant must possess effective Interpersonal and Communication skills.
