Team Leader / Water and Sanitation Specialist
Education
  • Master’s Degree in Civil / Water and Sanitation Engineering
  • Registered by a recognized institution as professional in field of specialization

Experience
  • 10 years’ experience in program and/or project management of water and sanitation projects.
  • Team Leader of at least three projects or development programs with financing institutions.
  • Specific experience of 5 years’ involvement in the water and sanitation projects including water resource management programs.
  • Familiarity with operating procedures of WB and/or other DPs will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with DBO contracts will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills
  • Managerial and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical, innovative, business oriented
  • Ability to work and communicate in an international environment and in communities of diverse cultures
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team and run projects achieve the set goals
  • Skills in capacity building and transferring skills to local partners at national and local levels
  • Excellent computer and conversant with Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent report writing skills
Language: Fluency in both spoken and written Swahili and English
Duty station: Dodoma / Dar es Salaam
Duration: 36 months on fulltime basis
