Position Summary
The
Technical Services Coordinator- Case Management (TCS-CM) serves as an
active member of the program team for the implementation of Pact
Tanzania's Kizazi Kipya project (New Generation). The Technical Services
coordinator-Case Management will ensure the technical cohesion of
project integration, strengthening age- appropriate HIV/AIDS-related and
other services for improved care, health, nutrition, education,
protection, live hoods and psychosocial well-being.

Specific Duties;
The
Technical Services Coordinator Case Management must develop a close
working relationship with the sub-grantees providing OVS services at the
community level. The coordinator will be responsible for;
•
Support Advisors to disseminate updated guidance, standard operating
procedures (SOPs) and other job-aids that facilitate holistic case
management at the household/community levels to assure beneficiaries are
receiving appropriate health and social services.
• Serve as
technical point person and mentor with sub grantees on National
Integrated Case Management (NICM), child protection parenting skills,
adolescent, and GBV priorities while ensuring program activities are age
appropriate reflecting child and youth perspectives and interest.
• Co-develop work plans with sub grantees and monitor their progress and monitor their progress

Regularly monitor project activities and use the information to
improve project quality and implementation; and to pro-actively identify
risks related t contract compliance and prescribe, implement and manage
corrective action.
• In close collaboration with sub grantees,
providing quarterly support-supervision mentoring visits to the field to
assure mentoring visits to the field to assure SOPs are properly
implemented and case files are maintained in accordance with PEPFAR
requirements
• Provide guidance and technical oversight to sub
grantees ensuring skills trainings are conducted in accordance with
international and Tanzanian standards and best practices.
• Work in partnership with local government authorities as appropriate
•
Create community linkages for broader community engagement of youth
and adolescent in the core areas of program interest-sexual reproductive
health, live hoods, life skills, employability.
• Document lessons learnt and best practices for experience sharing and replication.
•
Timely preparation of quality progress reports that meet the
organizations/donor requirements, as stipulated in the contract.
• Identifying and documenting best practices for presentation and possible integration to existing SOPs
• Promoting, documenting and presenting shared learnings across technical partner and other actors.
• Conduct training/learning needs assessment for PEPFAR OVC sub grantees;
•
Receiving TOT and coordinating/co-facilitate trainings on case
management, child protection, economic strengthening /parenting skills,
adolescent/youth, and referrals.
• Support PEPFAR OVC technical
partners to oversee quality improvement initiatives and learning
exchanges related to case management among partners
• Collaborate
with the Technical Advisors and Technical Integration Cluster Manager to
develop and roll out procedures related to graduation and transition of
OVC and their households.
• Coordinating with Para-social Workers
and Community Case Workers to effectively monitor and document
interventions (data-collection) in a timely and accurate manner
•
Submit written case management updates to the Cluster Technical Manager
for inclusion in the quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Cluster Technical Manager.

Minimum Qualifications;
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following technical areas Social Work, Child Protection,OVC care, health, nutrition, education, protection live hoods, and psychosocial well-being
• Fluent in both written and spoken English & Kiswahili
• Experience with PEPFAR 3.0 funded projects in Tanzania
• Experience working with child protection structures.
• Experience managing donor-funded programs with demonstrated capacity to create and/or maintain complex systems and procedures involving multiple implementation sites, multiple partners and diverse beneficiaries
• Ability to provide the financial oversight necessary to successfully execute a large-scale program
• Experience implementing program and donor regulations, systems, and procedures
• Diplomacy and negotiation skills that demonstrate ability to collaborate coordinate with a range of stakeholders and complex priorities
