The
Office of the Regional Administration and Local Government
(OR-GOVERNMENT) in collaboration with the Examinations Council of
Tanzania (NECTA) has prepared the Tanzanian Academic Excellence Awards
from 2019. The awarding of these awards is a Government effort to
recognize and congratulate the Students, Teachers, Schools, Councils and
Regions that performed well in the National Examinations.
Recommended:
The award-winning festival will be held each March in the results of the National Standard Four Examination (SFNA) and Form Two (FTNA) as well as the Fourth Form Exam (CSEE) and each October for the Primary Education Examination (PSLE) ) and the Form Six Exam (ACSEE).
The award-winning festival will involve ministries, Government
Institutions, private companies as well as various industry
professionals.

THE PURPOSE OF THE REWARD
The
purpose of these awards is to provide incentives that will inspire
students, teachers, schools, councils and regions to increase their
effectiveness and creativity in teaching and learning. This will help
to increase the level of performance and, thus, gain more graduates with
sufficient knowledge and skills to enable our country to reach the
industrial economy.
