Vision
Fund Tanzania Microfinance Bank Ltd (VFT MFB) formerly known as SEDA is
a fast growing and reputable Micro Finance Bank (MFB), has a loan book
of Tshs. 24 billion and 54,000 customer base, more that 5,000 of them
being small holder farmers. VFT is seeking to employ dynamic and
committed Tanzanian young men & women who have passion for people's
economic development to fill in the vacant positions detailed here
below:

Position: Head of Risk and Compliance
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibility:
• Identify risks, prioritize and measures current and foreseeable risks Ensures that Risks are kept within the scope
•
Develop clear annual Risk objectives for VFT MFB Asses and identify
risks areas of implementing audit findings, regulators concern and other
bodies.
MAIN TASKS
• Heads & Supervisors Risk and Compliance department
• Identify risks, prioritize and measures. current risks
• Ensures that Risks are kept within the scope
• Develop clear annual Risk objectives for
• Asses and identify risks areas of implementing audit findings, regulators concern and other bodies.
• Develop Risk Policy for VFT and compliance standard
• Responsible for AMLÄ°CFT cases and ensure proper handling of the case
• Trains and orient staff on AML and CFT awareness
• Work with Board Credit and Risk Committee
• Responsible for developing and implementing of Compliance Monitoring Plan.
•
Conducting training to VFT-MFB staff on bank policies and procedures,
legal and regulatory requirements, as well as consumer protection

Education/Experience
• Master /Post graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management Education/Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Law/Accounting, Management Very good knowledge of oral & written English Very good analytical & reporting skills
• 5 years experience in credit management
• 3 years experience in supervisory rolee
Special / Personal Abilities
• Highly developed sense correctness of reliability and
• Very good communication skills and an effective trainer
• Innovative and analytical
• Very good planning skills
• Must have above average skills in using MicroSoft office applications
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Committed Christian
