Purpose of the Job
To promote, display and increase visibility and awareness of Kilimanjaro SAR’s services to the public.
Nature of the Job
The
incumbent will be engaged with Kilimanjaro SAR’s PR & Marketing
department on an internship basis for a duration of 3 months, after
which a contract of employment may be offered subject to succesful
completion of the internship program upto the company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and draft suitable content for various communications channels
• Assist in driving the social media and digital content on all relevant platforms and promoting public engagement
• Supports social media efforts including content strategy, planning and execution
• Interviews staff as needed to develop compelling testimonials and stories that can be used in various media
• Special events planning and execution including creation of project summaries, briefs & speeches where requested
• Provides world-class customer service to all Clients of the Company
• Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications

Key Qualifications
• Fresh Graduates: Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications or equivalent from a recognized UniversityKey Qualifications
• Intermediate to Advanced User of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good Understanding of Public Relations and Marketing
• Genuine enthusiam for creating compelling communications materials
• Native English Speaker will be an added advantage
