Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered organisation first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of ophthalmic and rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT enterprise and through development programmes the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs and is currently constructing a Maternity and Newborn Hospital.
In order to strengthen our External Affairs Team, we are looking for a Self driven Fundraiser who can identify and engage new strategic partners independently, maintains donor relationships and may manage small portfolio grants.
The role
The Infrastructure Support Team Lead’s role is to ensure smooth, secure and stable operations of the Organization’s Information Technology Infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and Backup strategies and telecommunications systems. The team lead therefore plans, organizes and manages a dynamic team, facilitates scientific problem solving and daily huddles, ensures timely preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly reports and participates actively in cross functional project
teams to provide the best and innovative solutions to the needs of the clients

The candidate
Minimal a Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Qualifications in CISCO CCNP, Linux Server administration is required
Qualification in HP Enterprise networking solutions is required
Qualification in ITIL and Microsoft Server administration e.g. MCSA, MCSE, MCP is desired
Proven experience in using basic software applications such as Microsoft OS (XP, Vista, 7) and Microsoft Office
Solid experience and knowledge in server and network support, networking protocols, security standards, troubleshooting and support fundamentals
5-6 years’ experience on ICT Infrastructure management in a Microsoft and Linux environment
5-6 years’ strong experience on deploying and supporting enterprise ICT Infrastructure services & solutions.
3-4 years’ strong experience on setting up & managing ICT Infrastructure security measures
5-6 years’ working with Tier 1 and 2 support staff administrators
Management of Virtualized environments
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a health environment with good understanding of hospital processes
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal(in English), Fluent in Kiswahili is desired
Able to communicate complex issues and solutions to nontechnical users
An energetic and flexible team leader with the passion to coach and mentor others and a strong work ethic
Able to respond to changes in technology and learn and apply new solutions and look for innovation
Able to keep accurate records and work within agreed frameworks.
Able to plan and prioritize own work and those of others, work to deadlines and manageconflicting priorities.
