Job Description
Qualification: Industrial/Vocational training in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 years on shop floor
Preferred Skill: Well versed with working of Sino trucks, Howo Trucks and Isuzu Trucks
Key Accountabilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles brought to the workshop.
- Timely finishing of work and doing it right the first time.
- Maintain workshop equipment to ensure good working order.
- Advice your supervisor of diagnosis and needed repairs of additional repair apart from the ones on the job card.
- Follow rules and regulations of the company.
- Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.
- Keep tools safe and clean.
- Wear proper protective gear according to the work done.
- Accurately and neatly indicate work done on the job card / safari checks sheets and give the supervisor to sign and close it.
- To perform any other duties as required by management
Job Summary
The Head of Section will be responsible to manage and lead a team of
technicians/operators in allocating workload and managing the day to day
operations in the workshop.
Job Description
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a reputed automobile work-shop
Preferred Skill: Well versed with working of Caterpillar equipment, Sino trucks, Case and New Holland Tractors
Responsible to manage and lead a team of technicians/operators in
allocating workload and managing the day to day operations in the
workshop. It requires to co-ordinate resources and to liaise with
internal key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a
quality standard.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations.
- Co-ordinate resources, (operational and human) schedules and activities to effectively manage jobs.
- Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns with FMT Manager.
- Implement ERP systems to record, file and store information pertaining to audit enquiries.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
