Overview:
Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is in the process of revamping its operations and has introduced new equipment to its fleet as part of implementation of its five years Corporate Strategic Plan (2017/2018-2020-2021). In line with this expansion, the Company is also making some reforms in its structure, internal operations and staffing to accommodate the needs of its rapid expansion.
Therefore, applications are invited from qualified Tanzanians to fill the following positions below:
AIRCRAFT CLEANERS GRADE II (4 POSTS)

In line with this expansion, the Company is also making some reforms in its structure, internal operations and staffing to accommodate the needs of its rapid expansion.
Therefore, applications are invited from qualified Tanzanians to fill the following positions below:
AIRCRAFT CLEANERS GRADE II (4 POSTS)
Entry Qualifications
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-
Must have National Form IV or Form VI Certificate with passes in English and Kiswaliili
Must have a Basic Technician Certificate from VET A or any recognized training institution
Basic Certificate in mechanics or other technical related certificates will be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
To handle general cleaning of line, hangar and workshop facilities under supervision
To clean Aircraft and aircraft components under supervision.
To assist in positioning working and safety gears to facilitate maintenance activities.
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by die supervisor
LEGAL OFFICER-LITIGATION (1 POST)
Entry Qualifications:
Entry Qualifications:
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-
Must have a Bachelor Degree of Law from die recognized University
Must be registered as an Advocate of die High Court and Subordinate Courts
Must have relevant working experience of at least one (1) year from a reputable institution
Candidates with relevant airline experience will be given preference.
Entry Qualifications
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-
Must have Form IV certificate widi Class E or Cl driving License
Must have attended a Basic Driving Course from VETA/National Institute of Transport or any recognized institution.
Must have a working experience of minimum of 1 year accident free.
Possession of Trade Test or a Basic Mechanics Course will be an added advantage.
POSITION: ACCOUNTANT GRADE 1 (2 POSTS)
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-
Must have Form IV certificate widi Class E or Cl driving License
Must have attended a Basic Driving Course from VETA/National Institute of Transport or any recognized institution.
Must have a working experience of minimum of 1 year accident free.
Possession of Trade Test or a Basic Mechanics Course will be an added advantage.
POSITION: ACCOUNTANT GRADE 1 (2 POSTS)
Entry Qualifications:
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-
Must have Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or its equivalent from recognized academic institutions
Must have Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
Must have at least two (2) years working experience in a competitive business environment
Must be Computer literate
Knowledge in accounting information system, experience in inventory accounting and relevant airline experience will be an added advantage
POSITION: ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER (4 POSTS)
Entry Qualifications:
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-

Must have a Diploma in Procurement and Logistics/Alatenals Management or its equivalent from recognized academic institution
Must be registered with PSPTB
Must have at least two (2) years working experience in a similar field in a competitive business environment
Computer Literate.
Candidates with relevant airline experience will be given preference.
Must be registered with PSPTB

POSITION: PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER GRADE I (2 POSTS)
Entry Qualifications:
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-
Bachelor Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Materials Management, Logistics Management or equivalent qualifications from recognized institution
Must have a Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP)) Certificate or its equivalent and have a valid Practicing License issued by PSPTB
Must have at least three (3) years working experience of two years in a similar field in a competitive business environment
Computer literate
Candidates with relevant airline experience will be given preference.

REMUNERATION:
Attractive remuneration and Fringe Benefits as per ATCL Scales and Incentive Scheme.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Five (5) years contract (renewable) upon successful performance

(Tanzanian applicants who have studied outside Tanzania should have their certificates approved by relevant authorities i.e Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) or National Examination Council- NECTA)
iii) Two recent passport size photographs;
iv) Names and addresses of at least two reputable referees;
v) Applicant’s reliable contact address, email address and telephone numbers.
vi) The applicant must indicate willingness to work upcountry when need be.
