Role overview
The ideal person for this position will support the project manager in
the implementation of the SME’s Services Business Centre project in
North Mara region by providing logistical support, management of
meetings, reports review, follow up project implementation activities on
day-to-day basis to contribute to the delivery of the project at the
quality outcome desired time and budget specifications. Also you to
prepare and management of products – including project quarterly report,
monitoring and evaluation, project log frame/results framework, project
work plan, and project governance document. If you want to enhance
equitable and sustainable economic growth for SME’s in the North Mara
region together with Volunteers (International and National) and Staff
from different culture, this might be your job!

Skills, qualifications and experience
• A bachelor degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, marketing, communications, Entrepreneurship or related subject.
• 2-3 years of work experience in a professional environment; preferably in a reputable company/organization, International Organization.
• Report writing, monitoring and evaluation experience.
• Experience in conducting one-on-one business mentoring, facilitation and training. Commitment to team and building its capacity.
• Must possess strong written and spoken English and Swahili language skills.
• Ability to be proactive and use creativity to drive solutions and results.
• Excellent coordination and planning skills with experience of working under pressure.
• Project Management – Experience of planning and managing projects with multiple stakeholders, delivering expected benefits in challenging contexts to tight deadlines.
• Relationship Building – Ability to build effective working relationships, inspiring confidence and credibility with employees at all levels. Strong influencer of others. Ability to work effectively across a globally dispersed organisation.
• People Management – Experience of management of project team members
• Financial – Experience of successfully monitoring and managing budgets.
• Analysis and creative problem-solving – Ability to analyse and quickly grasp the fundamentals of a need or issue. Able to find innovative ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
Desirable:
• Practical experience within a development organisation
