Job Description
Essential duties and Other duties:
- Draft pleadings for all credit-related cases instituted against or for the bank.
- File pleadings in respect of credit-related cases instituted for or against the bank.
- Attend court sessions and record court proceedings in all cases in various courts against the Bank.
- Conduct research on legal matters.
- Follow up on all official matters with courts and tribunals.
- Giving opinion on court matters.
- Give legal advice on legal matters.
- Update and maintain case register in respect of incoming cases.
Registration of security documents
-To draft documents related to mortgage
-Update and maintain collateral registration register.
Police Cases/Fraud
- Report cases to the police and collate necessary documentation in support of these cases.
- Follow up/attend criminal cases, liaise with the external lawyers in preparing witnesses and evidence required.
- Follow up on all pending police cases.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- At least degree in law.
- Must be outgoing, energetic and able to work in courts.
- Legal practice experience is necessary.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Work comfortably for up to 8 hours a day
