Project Field Officer - Out of school activities (OSSG & LIMCA) (1 Post)
The Field Officer will directly work to ensure implementation of
activities in time and also assist the program manager in managing the
work schedule and direct implementation of activities. In the
implementation of Waache Wasome the Project Field Officer-out of school
activities (OSSG & LIMCA) will provide regular support to livelihood
improvement for mothers caregivers of Adolescents (LIMCA), parenting
and out of school study groups activities .
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in close collaboration with Local Government Authorities
(LGAs), Lower Level Government (LLG) and Community Volunteers (EEVs,
Patrons/Matrons) to support adolescent girls, Young Women’s and their
families
Work with communities, WEO’s, CDO’s and village level leaders to mobilize Village Savings and Lending Associations (VSLAs).
Work with communities and district council to identify adolescent
girls and young mothers who have dropped out of secondary school for
various reasons and provide them alternative education pathways.
Work with LGAs and WEI/Bantwana to train parents on parenting in LIMCA and OSSG
Facilitate out of school study groups during their weekly meetings in their safe spaces
Work in close collaboration with LGAs, Institute of Adult Education
at district level and approved district/ward level vocational training
centers (VTC) to provide alternative education pathways to adolescent
girls and young women who have dropped out of secondary school for
various reasons.
Leverage and mobilize community resources to complement resources from Waache Wasome.
Meet rigorous monitoring and evaluation requirements that support national data management systems.
Adhere to reporting schedules and provide accurate, complete and timely information.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Field Officer should be a bachelor degree / diploma holder.
She/he should hold a degree /diploma in social sciences, Humanities,
community development and development studies or a related diploma from a
recognized college.
A minimum of two years experience and sound knowledge of working with Adolescent girls and young women
Good team player with a capability to work with people in such a
manner as to build high morale and group commitment to objectives.
Ability to travel and work under pressure
Excellent communication skills including ability to clearly
information through oral and written means.
Experience in working with communities to mobilize Livelihood Improvement for Mothers Caregivers of Adolescents (LIMCA); and
A good reputation with LGAs.
High degree of flexibility and adaptability
Project Field Officer - In school activities POY (1 Post)
OVERVIEW
OVERVIEW
The Field Officer will directly work to ensure implementation of
activities in time and also assist the program manager in managing the
work schedule and direct implementation of activities. In the
implementation of Waache Wasome Project Field Officer-in school
activities POY will provide regular support to POY (Protect our youth )
club activities .
The field officer will collaborate with the council Education department to organize POY club formation meeting
S/he will Support the FY19 POY club formation in Waache Wasome project schools
The incumbent will work with the LGAs and WEI/Bantwana staff to Organize orientation trainings for Matron/Patrons on POY extra activities
Organize a 2 day for 56 peer leaders on the POY curriculum and extra activities
Liase with M&E officer to ensure data collection tools for POY club activities are properly filled and collected timely

Project Field Officer - In school activities DEWS and Subject Club (1 Post)
OVERVIEW
The Field Officer will directly work to ensure implementation of activities in time and also assist the program manager in managing the work schedule and direct implementation of activities. In the implementation of Waache Wasome Project Field Officer-In School activities DEWS and Subject Club will provide regular support to subject clubs and Drop out Early Warning System in Waache Wasome Project schools
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with public secondary school administration to strengthen Subject Clubs placing emphasis on Science and Mathematics to improve academic performance
S/he will participate during Orientation of District and school level officials on developed science subject guidelines
Support Identification and orientation of science subject club champions in all project schools
Establish science subject clubs in project schools of Musoma MC
The incumbent will Organize orientation sessions for science subject club peer leaders
Support Subject Club Meetings
Ensure data collection and compilation of all data related with subject clubs and DEWS
Adhere to reporting schedules and provide accurate, complete and timely information
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Field Officer should be a bachelor degree /diploma holder. She/he should hold a degree/ diploma in education, social sciences, community development, development studies or a related fields from a recognized Institutions.
Experience of working with children, teachers and school administrations in secondary schools settings
Ability to travel and work under pressure
Excellent communication skills including ability to clearly document and present information through oral and written means.
A good reputation with LGAs.
High degree of flexibility and adaptability
Language Skills:
Must be fluent in both written and spoken Swahili and English Language
