Position: Business Development Manager
KONCEPT is an Integrated Advertising, Marketing & PR/Communications firm that specializes in devising creative and innovative communication marketing strategies for corporate clients, institutions, individuals and the like. Our core competence is to provide integrated marketing approach to promote our clients’ products and services.
In our quest to expand our business and foster our fast-growing business space, we are seeking to recruit a suitable person to fill the vacancy of Business Development Manager. The selected person will join our strong, industrious and dynamic team and is expected to have the following qualities:

- Male or female between 24-35 years of age
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any of these courses: Business Administration, Public relations ,Journalism and Mass Communications or Economics. Proven fluency and competence in writing in both English and Kiswahili will be an added advantage.
- More than two years’ experience in Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing or Media Relations.
- Out-going, innovative, proven ability to work under a fast-paced business environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Job Description:
The Business Development Director will be reporting to the company’s Managing Director and should have the following competencies:
- Ability to identify and implement new business growth opportunities
- Create opportunities for various business aspects in our core areas of expertise
- Ability to spearhead customer relations, marketing and cost-reduction measures
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to create solutions to business challenges and working on pre-determined projects
- Actualizing customer requests and manage business development contracts
- Coordination of training of company staff to improve their abilities
- Attending social functions/events and conference to gather information on industry trends and provide feedback to senior company managers.
