CEMDO – Tanzania (NGO) is seeking a suitably qualified Tanzanian to fill the following vacancies:
Position: HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (1POST)-ADVT N0 001/2019
Duration: January 2019 – 31st March 2019.
Renewable for one year until 31st December 2019.
Project: Environmental and Energy
Focus area: Disaster Relief /Humanitarian Assistance
Place of duty: Nyarugusu Refugees Camp/Kasulu District Kigoma
Tentative starting date: January 2019 

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree on Human Resources management or related disciplines;
• Specific and demonstrated skills and experience in Human Resources management capacity building and Employment Laws ,Policy and Regulations;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position/Water project;
• Experience/skills in projects’ management ,Administrative and reporting;
• Excellent communication capabilities;
• Computer literacy;
• Languages: English fluent, Kiswahili;
• Strong commitment;
• Flexibility, availability to perform other duties;
• Team Player;

BASIC FUNCTION
The Human Resource Officer is reporting to the Executive Director, responsible for managing the human resources and administration activities of the Organization by implementing systematic approach to local recruitment, HR planning, compensation and benefits, performance management, evaluation, and staff development that fosters a work environment conducive to meet Project and Organization goals and objectives, provides leadership to CEMDO and Partners in all aspects of human resources.
 Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staffs.
 Monitor staff performance and attendance activities Monthly quarterly and annual
 Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
 Provide information and assistance to staff and supervisors on human and work related issues
 Update and maintain all personnel files and records in a safe and secure location
 Monitor the timely completion of all attendance timesheets and leave forms.
 Liaising closely with the Project Coordinator and Finance Department
 Monitor all CEMDO employment contracts to ensure that they remain compliant with the relevant employment agreement
 Conduct and or assist with any employee disciplinary action as required.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience similar working in Tanzanian NGO;
• Experience/skills in projects’ in Accounts (Quick Books software package)

Financial Management, Accounting and Bookkeeping, Resources accountability, to prepare Monthly quarterly and annual financial report and other financial duties.

The LOGISTIC AND STORE KEEPER is reporting to Project Finance Manager, responsible for Store Management under CEMDO Procurement Policy relating with Partner Procurements Regulation and policies the Maintain stores records and ensuring they goods received Records from time to time .Maintains proper Store Records of all project and organization a work environment conducive to meet Project and Organization goals and objectives. Collaborate with UNHCR, MoHA and local authorities and other partners involved in the project; Resources accountability, to prepare Monthly quarterly and annual Stores report and other financial duties.
