Marketing and Business Development Manager Upcoming Dalry Processing Plant, Tanzania
Overview
For
an upcoming Dairy Processing Plant (DPP) in the Southern Highlands of
Tanzania, there is a need for a Marketing & Business Development
Manager. S/he will be responsible for the development of the DPP
consumer brand portfolio in the Tanzanian market and achievement of sales and distribution targets.
Key responsibilities include:
i.
Setting business and strategy development: that will establish DPP's
market size and target customer, and lead new product market
introductions and growth.
ii. Lead product development, market launches and expansion for all company products
iii. Business Growth management (ensure the achievement of sales and revenue targets)
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other related fields, with MBA, preferred
- Minimum 10 years' marketing management experience in an FMCG industry, with at least 5 years' experience in the fluid/liquid dairy or any other beverage industry
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong brand management and new product development proven experience
- Knowledge of customer service, sales principles and concepts, and key-customer relationships in the Tanzania.
- Ability to create reports and metrics to track results and prepare and deliver executive presentations.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans
- Ability to lead, motivate, and work with cross-functional teams
- Results oriented and KPI driven.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and word.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Production Manager Upcoming Dairy Processing Plant
Overview
For an upcoming Dairy Processing Plant (DPP) in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, there is a need for a Production Manager. S/he must possess the desire and ability to provide leadership and supervisory coordination in all aspects of production.
The Production Manager's role is to enable plant employees to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of the company, division, and the plant in a customer satisfying and profitable fashion. The Production Manager's role is for continuous plant improvement, employee development and maintaining a cost-effective operation.
Key responsibilities include:
i. Oversee establishment of Dairy Processing Plant: provide 100% oversight supervision of all phases of factory plant set up and operations, and establish the commercial plans of the plant
ii. Manage daily operation of dairy production including processing, packaging and maintenance
iii. Follow regulatory standards and maintain practices in the plant that assure product quality and safety
Coordinate and maintain production schedule
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science/Food Science/Agricultural Business or oother related fields
- Ten years' experience with dairy/food processing equipment, fluid milk production, and CIP systems.
- Good contextual knowledge of local issues, community priorities, organizational relationships, social and cultural constraints and realities, and environmental conditions.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work with groups of people with varying levels of education, expertise and backgrounds in order to achieve results through others
- Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
