Your tasks
• Leading and instructing project leaders and responsible supervision of all legal, safety, economic and design quality related provisions related to works contracts
• Procurement of all necessary building, trade and other permits
• Negotiation with the client regarding essential questions of construction execution, interpretation, changes and expansions of the construction contract as well as approval of addendums in agreement with the head of the management and the competent merchant
• Conclusion of subcontracting contracts in agreement with the head of the management and the commercial manager
• Selection of partners (internal / external) and creation of partner agreements
• Participation in the acceptance of construction sites
• Responsible monitoring of calculations and quotations
• Contact with customers, partners (internal / external)
• Independent acquisition of orders and systematic customer care in agreement with the head of the management
• Regular information and coordination with the head of the management in all essential technical and personnel relevant tasks and problems
• Creation of cross-project device concepts
• Cost control in connection with the competent merchant
• Participation in personnel planning and selection
• Employee support and assessment (annual employee appraisals, support measures, monitoring of results)
Your requirements
• Degree in civil engineering
• Several years of construction and project management experience in road construction
• Knowledge of infrastructure is an advantage
• Experience in quotation costing / costing
• Sound knowledge of international contract law (FIDIC) is an advantage
• Africa experience desirable
• Contract and fluent language skills in German and English
• French skills desirable
• Good user knowledge in MS Office as well as in a calculation and accounting program (ARRIBA / iTWO)
• Organizational talent, assertiveness, decision-making ability and joy
• Quality and cost awareness
• Resilience and self-responsibility in action
