AUMS Ltd is currently seeking suitably experienced Underground Shotcrete Sprayers for our Geita Gold Mine Contract in Geita.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment according to all AUMS Plant Operation & Maintenance procedures and fault reporting systems.
- Apply shotcrete at specified thickness, quantity, and application according to procedures and design;
- Ensure adequate ventilation and supply of mine-air prior to spraying;
- Fuel up concrete truck and fill chemical tanks as required;
- Ensure all AUMS safety standards, policies & procedures are adhered to;
- Ability to train the National (local) workforce.
Skills, Experience & Attributes:
- Previous experience as a Shotcrete Operator, Sprayer and Agi driver;
- Experience in Hard Rock Underground Mining;
- Knowledge of concrete additives and aggregates;
- Knowledge of shotcrete rig’s performance capabilities;
- Ability to work autonomously/independently with limited supervision;
- Demonstrated abilities to work within a team environment;
- Previous experience working within the mining industry;
- Commitment to safety.
