PRODUCT SPECIALIST (Grade 9)JOB PURPOSE: The Product specialist is responsible for managing the life cycle of products and services under his/her responsibility; contributing to meet Category & MICs revenues and financial targets, usage penetration, and consumer satisfaction goals. This individual will bring to bear deep hands-on product management experience, including product financial assessments, opportunity and risk analysis, commercial blue prints, commercialization and marketing strategies, project management, and product best practices.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Overall performance of his/her products and services, including penetration, financial results, and user satisfaction.
• Definition and implementation of commercialization and marketing strategies.
• Products and services releases and evolution, including preparation of a product/process improvement briefs.
• KPIs monitoring of assigned products and services, and timely reports to management.
• Consumer understanding.
• Cross-functional cooperation and communication with other categories in order to achieve time to market effectiveness and organizational efficiency.
• Ensure that all processes are aligned with products best practices and corporate policies.
• Developing training materials and working closely with trainers to ensure product knowledge amongst the sales team
• Performing pilots and replicating best practices of the product regionally to ensure better product performance.
QUALIFICATIONS,EXPERIENCE&COMPETENCIES
• University degree in marketing, communication, engineering and/or business administration.
• Preferably an MBA or Master’s Degree
• Conversational English is desired.
• Minimum 3+ years of proven product management experience.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Substantial knowledge of WEB, Publishing, and Mobile trends & technology.
• Ability to engage in effective and persuasive negotiations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective communicator and presenter.
• Able to build relationships and credibility quickly.
