Location: Njombe & Mbeya
Reporting to: Subordinates: Project Officer Community Health Workers
1. Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible to assist on various specific tasks with Mama na Mwana project to ensure decent space for dialogue and linkage in the community. S/he will be responsible for providing platform for social accountability for better quality of maternal and neonatal services provided at health facilities.
2. Key Tasks
Support coordination and facilitation of community dialogue sessions to explain Mama na Mwana and discuss the data received through the mobile platform
Train women and health workers on the use of the mobile-based score card, analyse of outcomes score cards and support them to sign up to the m-health platform
Assist in the development of other new or emerging innovations and priorities to address in the program in an organized, standardized manner
Ensures close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to guarantee smooth implementation of activity programs
Identify areas of good practice for sharing
Responsible for provision of activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to relevant authorities
Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation department for maintenance of Data management system
Identify areas of good practice for sharing and enhance documentation, success stories of the project interventions and results.
Attending to any other duty as may from time to time be assigned by his superiors
3. Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Diploma in Social Work, Social Studies, Community Development or its equivalent. Bachelor degree in social science will add advantage.
1 year experience workingin Family Planning/Program Managementactivities

PROJECT OFFICER
Location: Mbeya & Njombe
Reporting to: Projects Lead
Subordinates: Project Assistants
1. Job Purpose
ProjectOfficer is responsible to provide platform for social accountability for better quality of maternal and neonatal services provided at health facilities.This includes coordination of the project activities and service delivery including planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating to achieve the project outcome.
2. Key Tasks
Provide technical support to the frontline health and nutrition staff including community health workers (CHWs), health facility staff and volunteers to increase their knowledge and skills on Sexual and Reproductive Health Services particularly MNCH, FP etc.
Plan, monitor and evaluate the work of Project Assistants and to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
Work together with Programs lead in gathering, reporting and analysing performance data for impact and sustainability of project implementation
Support all monitoring, evaluation and research tasks and deliverables for the project and ensure that all required reports and documentation are submitted timely.
Create awareness in the Community on the benefits of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services including through use of regular radio spots and posters
Ensures close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners (government) to guarantee smooth implementation of projects
Together with CHMTs and health facility staff, provide coaching and mentorship to community health workers, data officers, and project assistants Sexual and Reproductive Health Services
Develop and support effective linkages and collaborate with Key structures to include CHMT, Community Based Organizations, other implementing partners and other NGOs.
Represent UMATI and Participate in networking meetings/workshops/conferences with local government and other stakeholders at the district and regional levels.
Ensure a decent space for the dialogue of the community members
Supervise Project Assistant’s activities, provide information, education and counselling to clients
Responsible for provision of activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to relevant authorities
Facilitate documentation and sharing of processes, challenges, good practices and lessons learnt among partners.
Ensure program assets, materials and financial resources are well managed to ensure Stewardship and accountability.
Attending to any other duty as may from time to time be assigned by his superiors
3. Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development or sociology. Master’s degree in social science will add advantage.
At least 3 years working experience in project management.
4. Knowledge/Skillsand Abilities
Demonstrated understanding of social/cultural issues
Aptitude in common computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet browsers)
Knowledge of SRH and social accountability is highly preferred
Fluency in Swahili and English(both spoken and written)
Ability to prioritize, direct, and complete work in a stressful environment with significant attention to detail
Hold national driving licence

DATA OFFICER Umati Dr es Salaam
1. Job Purpose
The Project Data and Information Officer will have primary responsibility for implementing the project systems and program outcome reporting. S/he will be responsible for regularly cleaning and analyzing the data collected using the Mama na Mwana platform. Analysis will be performed in collaboration with technical IT and PME support.The Data Officer will provide data analysis for reports for use by the project team in community dialogue, surveys and evaluation events. Through the provision of data reports, the Data Officer supports the work of the program staff in the field. The Project Data and Information Officer will focus on data monitoring, evaluation, training, learning and reporting. S/he will be expected to work closely with the Project Lead and Project Officers, an undertake routine support of the work of field teams to ensure the set up and implementation of theM&E systems as well as, completeness of data and reports.

2. Key Tasks
Support Data Management by performing data profiling and supporting data mapping specifications.
Ensuring that the data structures are adequate to the task, including the integrity, consistency, coherence and maintain data and information systems which support the continuity of Mama na Mwana Project
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports and submit them to the project managers.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual progress reports on the status of project implementation.
Ensure timely communication with the supervisor and other relevant partners to the project thereby maintaining strong relationships at the district and regional level.
Ensures Mama naMwana project interventions and donor are recognized by the government, partners and communities at the district and regional level.
Responsible for cleaning data, raw data analysis and data profiling for data integration.
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and create test scripts – for both automated and manual tastings.
Extract data from data tables in data warehouse using SQL queries.
Identify business requirements and provide technical documentation.
Able to manage delivery of projects.
Provide post implementation support, investigating data issues and queries.
Identify areas of good practice for sharing and enhance documentation, success stories of the project interventions and results
