SHDEPHA+Kahama is the organization that was registered and incorporated
under the companies Act of 2002. The organization was registered on 27th
April 1994. SHDEPHA+ Kahama is therefore seeking to recruit highly qualified, experienced, motivated and dynamic individual to fill the following positions as shown below: 1) ASSISTANT PROJECT ACCOUNTANT (FULL-TIME)
Reports to: SHDEPHA+Kahama program Director
Working area: Shinyanga DC
Duration: 12 months (Renewable due to availability of funds)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
1. Financial management of SHDEPHA+ Kahama
Responsible for implementation of all Sauti project routines and regulation in Financial Management Manual. Quality assurance of budgets, payments, accounting, facilitation of auditing as well as financial risk management. Internal training and active support of programme staff to reinforce capacity of financial management in programmes. Simplifying and improving routines within the borders of compliance and risk management.
2. Administrative systems and routines of SHDEPHA+ Kahama
Hereunder to be in charge of implementation of well-functioning support systems at the office in order to provide necessary and timely administrative support and procurement processes. Ability to work independently with very minimal supervision, being proactive and dedication to work beyond normal hours when needed to do so.
3: Fundraising and compliance with donors’ financial and administrative requirements
Hereunder responsible to participate in fundraising proposals writing and ensure high quality as well as timely accounting and reports to different donors. Understanding of funding portfolio, managing its size and risk. Hereunder also participating in pursuing new donors and securing strong trust with existing donors.
4. Leadership.
Lead by example and empowering line management of finance and administration staff, ensure human resource development of staff with capacity building and regular performance development review. Lead the finance and administration organization to deliver its services in a way that motivates and enables programme staff to extraordinary performance.
5. Participation in the strategic leadership of SHDEPHA+ Kahama
Through membership of the senior management team and line management of the finance and administration staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
⦁ Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance or related backgrounds from recognized learning institutions) with at least 3 years’ experience in managing/coordinating donor funded projects.
⦁ Experience in Donor-funded projects is preferable
⦁Excellent knowledge of English
⦁ Broad experience within finance and administration management at a senior level, including supervisory experience
⦁ Experience in dealing with multi-currency accounting and she/he must have experience of using Quick book is a MUST.
⦁ Self- trust and confident in working with development/humanitarian projects
⦁ Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
· Aged between 18-30 years
⦁ Ability to manage complex reports and systems

2. JOB TITLE: DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER (DPM) -(1 POST) INTERNAL
WORK STATION: Shinyanga District council
REPORTING TO: Program Manager/Executive Director – Sauti project
Duration: one year
Salary: Attractive package
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor degree in community development or social work
2. Minimum three years’ experience in managing health programs including planning, design, supervising and evaluating health care programs
3. Acknowledge skills in one or more of the following areas HIV/AIDS, STIs, family planning related health services
4. Extensive knowledge of the health system from the National or local levels
5. Previous experience and understanding of the policies of international and US donor’s agencies and private sector foundation preferred
6. Experience of working in KVP programs and sub grants is an added advantage.
7. Demonstrated ability in managing teams to achieve health results.
8. Ability to develop productive working relationship with counterparts in other agencies and organization worldwide
9. Aware of and sensitive in working in multiple social economic settings and with multi-cultural/behavioral groups
10. Excellent in writing and oral communication and presentation skills in English and Swahili
11. Willingness to work overtime for project success
12. Ability to work 90% in rural and remote areas

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Work closely with program Manager to lead and direct technical and administrative project team.
2) Execute and monitor project activities.
3) Manage changes to scope, cost and schedule of project work.
4) Coordinate priorities and resources of the project’s activities
5) Prepare and update project plans and status reports.
6) Coordinate cross-functional meetings of personnel related to project.
7) Facilitate sessions to effectively resolve issues if any.
8) Allocate appropriate resources to ensure projects are completed within given time and budget.
9) Report status, develop project-related documentation and implement lessons learned.
10) Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions.
11) Review compiled monthly and quarterly report from project staff and submit to Program Manager
12) Performance other duties as assigned by supervise.

3. JOB TITLE: SOCIAL ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OFFICER (SEEO) -(1 POST)
WORK STATION: Shinyanga District council
REPORTING TO: DPM/Program Manager/Executive Director – Sauti project
Duration: 12 months (Renewable due to availability of funds)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Degree in Social works, Sociology, Rural Development or community developments and related degree program from recognized institutions.
2. At least with 3 years of experience in managing health-based project with focus on HIV/AIDS, FP, STIs and SRHE and other KvP Proven knowledge on AGYW and Gender based violence.
3. Proven skills on Gender and women focused rights and policies
4. Experienced in implementing project with focus on Key Vulnerable Population (KVP) Ability to manage team and meet deadlines which are results based
5. Flexibility and ability to copy with multi-cultural/behavioral practices
6. Proven records of good relationship with co staff, facilitation, team building and coordination skills will be added advantage
7. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills in English and Swahili
8. Readiness to work under pressure, ability to work under minimum supervision and willingness to work overtime for project prosperity
9. Computer literacy is highly required ie word, excel, internet, power point
10. Ability to work 90% in rural and remote area
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SEEO will Work closely with Deputy/Program Manager, WEOs, VEOs and regional SEEO to identify the eligibly empowerment workers
2. SEEO is responsible to collaborate with CBHSPs, EWS, WEOs and VEOs to mobilize and form WORTH groups which will consists of groups of Female sex worker and vanulable adolcent girls and young women.
3. SEEO will be responsible to collaborate with Deputy /Program manager with to coordinate the training.
4. He/she will be responsible to provide the strategic leadership to Empowerment workers and Vagyw.
5. Monitor the program core indicator incorporation with data manager and Deputy/program manager on weekly basis.
6. Writing reports for every activity and share with program manager timely
7. Review data report and provide guidance.
8. Reviewing and sharing reports written by Empowerment workers and share to Program manager
9. Ensure roll out of BCC training to AGYW before joining WORTH+ groups
10. Work closely with government authorities at LGA are well engaged in the project and sharing with them some reports as per directives and MoU to be signed and
11. Other responsibilities as will be assigned for the betterment of the project and Sauti as well
12. Ensure timely preparation of financial retirement with all necessary source of evidence to be shared with Account with focus on every incurred expense during project implementation
13. Timely plans and report submission to Deputy/program manager (weekly, monthly and quarterly )
14. Monitor budget under his/her department.

4. JOB TITLE: DATA MANAGER – (02 POST)
WORK STATION: Shinyanga District council
REPORTING TO: DPM /Program Manager/Executive Director – Sauti project
Duration: 12 months (Renewable due to availability of funds)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in social work, Planning, economics and statistics and development studies. Additional training in community health, public health, Monitoring and Evaluation, community mobilization, counseling is of added advantages.
1. Minimum three years’ experience in M&E department
2. Shall have understand on QA/Q1
3. Community health experiences and capacities.
4. Ability of Community Health Work, Health Committees (villages Health committees, Ward Development committees, Health facilities committees) etc.
5. Able to work with Health staff at different district council levels.
6. Computer literacy is highly required.
7. Able to relate gender, social & culture and maternal health in addressing their challenges accordingly.
8. Able to timely collect, compilation and data analysis as required by the SAUTI.
9. Ability to work 90% in rural and remote areas
10. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensuring data quality through reviewing of all data collection forms submitted to the office by field officers and other data collectors particularly, health unit’s staff, CHWS and identifying the errors and working with data collectors to ensure that the errors are timely addressed.
2. Maintaining proper documentation of the programme including periodic progress reports filling.
3. Ensuring that all data is entered into the database and synchronized into Database Management System on timely manner.
4. Ensuring data and field level are collected according to MCSP guidelines, well kept at all levels, analyzed and results shared with various stakeholders including the donor.
5. Conducting data verification and periodic data audits to ensure data quality at all times
6. Monitor and Advice the technical team on the indicator progress and gaps
7. Conduct DQA in quarterly basis.
MANAGING M&E SYSTEM:
1) Facilitating the Programme performance monitoring plan.
2) Facilitating the programme team in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in line with the programme descriptions and timely submitting to the program manager.
3) Tracking the implementation of the approved work plan to ensure timely accomplishment.
4) Ensuring availability of relevant data collection tools and ensuring consistent use of relevant tools in data collection and reporting processes.

5. JOB TITLE: SOCIAL BEHAVIORAL CHANGE COMMUNICATION AND GENDER PROGRAM OFFICER -(1 POST)
WORK STATION: Shinyanga District council
REPORTING TO: Deputy /Program Manager/Executive Director
Duration: 12 Months (renewable based on the fund availability)
Salary: Attractive package
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Social workers holding a degree from recognized institutions, Additional training in community health, public health, community mobilization, and counseling are of added advantages.
1. At least with 3 years of experience in health-based project with focus on HIV/AIDS, FP, STIs and SRHE and other KvP Proven knowledge on AGYW and Gender based violence

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure objectives of the SAUTI are met by
1) Promote Community engagement and strengthen District and Village Capacity to implement community level activities.
2) Promote positive health seeking behavior and conduct behavioral change communication sessions
3) Strengthen the capacity of the community structures to co-ordinate and implement quality activities of the SAUTI in addressing HIV prevention issues
4) Collaborate with M&E officer to prepare periodic, field, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
5) Provide capacity building and monitoring of peer educators, Empowerment Workers on HIV/AIDS and other sessions as required
6) Ensure WORTH programme and other SAUTI interventions are promptly
7) communicated to the various stakeholder groups in the community
