Job Title: Director of Logistics
Location: Arusha

Position

The Director of Logistics reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain and threads the needle among our Country Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing teams.  ensuring a healthy and successful partnership among manufacturing, logistics, sales and service. With a strong focus on the intricacies of logistics and distribution, designing for excellence will ensure that our energy systems and accessories serve our customers’ needs every day.

This position is a key member of the Logistics and Country Operations team and will work closely with our Logistics and Supply Chain teams during the development phase of our products to define the logistics and last mile requirements while maintaining a clear focus on preparing these products for low rate and high volume production into our manufacturing facilities and internal operations.

Requirements

Ideally, the candidate will have solar industry experience with the ability to make quick decisions based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Job Title: Data Scientist

Zola Electric is seeking an experienced Data Scientist, who will establish the patterns and methods of leveraging very large data sets to build better tools, and design analytics to inform how the organization approaches its mission. With a holistic understanding of our customers and business, the data scientist works to ensure we have clean, meaningful data, and then help us rapidly understand and use the resulting insights inside our product and operations through machine learning techniques.

Requirements

Educational, technical and analytical skills:
-BS Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics or Advanced Science (or equivalent work background) is essential.  MS or other advanced studies/certification in data science or related disciplines is an added advantage.

Job Title: Field Quality Engineer
Location: Arusha

Position

The Field Quality Engineer will determine the overall product quality based on evaluation of detailed requirements, customer feedback, and test results. The job also involves designing and troubleshooting prototypes that explore future technologies & user experiences. The Quality Engineer will work with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations to address and improve quality/reliability and manufacturability issues. Work will require leadership of cross-functional teams and close cooperation with the customer facing team in East and West Africa.
